Ron Jeremy indicted on more than 30 counts of sexual assault

Days ago, pornstar and adult industry legend Ron Jeremy was indicted on over 30 counts of sexual assault. Anxiously awaiting trial, would he be found guilty, Ron Jeremy could face a sentence of more than 300 years for the crimes he is being accused of.

This past Wednesday, Jeremy has denied the allegations against him and has pleaded not guilty to the charges outlined in the indictment, standing by his previous plea last year. He is currently being held at Twin Towers Correctional Facility in downtown Los Angeles, where he has been in custody since June 2020; bail is still set to $6.6 million.

Jeremy, legally known as Ron Jeremy Hyatt, was first accused back in June 2020 with sexual assaults against four women. Since then, this case has grown much interest from the public including other victims which chose not to come forward in the past. The case now involves a total of 21 alleged victims which span over a total of two decades.

Although a preliminary hearing was scheduled for October, the case will be taken directly to trial as prosecutors have provided sufficient evidence, as per the indictment.

This is not the first time Ron Jeremy has made headlines with such accusations. Back in 2017, a number of women came forward with sexual assault allegations in a Rolling Stone article published in November of that same year. At that time, Jeremy responded to the media stating that he has never and would never sexually assault anyone.

Jeremy is now facing twelve counts of sexual acts, seven counts of oral copulation, six counts of sexual battery by restraint, four counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object, two counts of sexual penetration, one count of lewd act on a girl, one count sodomy and one count of assault with intent to commit sexual acts.

Jeremy is expected to be back in court on October 12th for a pretrial conference.
